What was the first song you heard by #6?
My Time, ohmygod suuuuuuch a good song. I’m just sad I came into liking them so late.
What is your favorite song by #8?
The Ascending, or To Satellite. I can’t pick, they’re both legit. Pretty much everything on Moths is amazing..
What kind of impact has #1 left on your life?
Really, not too big of one. Like, they open my mind up to so much, make me think, blow me away with how amazing they are. The one way I guess they’ve changed me is just as people, not as the band Oh, Sleeper, but just when me and my friends hung out with them, and had dinner with them and stuff. The conversation that we had with everybody there was amazing, from everything about God, right and wrong, medicine, the navy, old friends that they toured with, just everything we talked about was more eye opening, to know that there are way more people out there, other than the people I talk to around here, that have the same views as we do, and know their shit.
What are your favorite lyrics by #5?
No body to speak of, but the passion retains. We have died, and returned as our phantom. Nothing can stop our purge for power. The asphalt stained a shade of red, we never would’ve thought that we were dead. We won’t rise from the ashes, but we’ll rise from our hosts. The after life means we reign as ghosts.
It’s hard to even call those my favorite lyrics. Phils a lyrical genius
How many times have you seen #4 live?
ONLY ONCE DAMMIT. And we only got to see them play two songs. Next time though, oh god, next time I’m getting there like an hour early to the entire show to make sure I catch a full act of letlive in action.
What is your favorite song by #7
SUCH a hard question. Sugarcult has too many good songs.. It’s like, a toss up between Stuck In America, or Los Angeles. And that’s being modest and just leaving the toss up between only two songs.
Is there any song by #3 that makes you sad?
I don’t think any Bon Iver really makes me sad. If I’m feeling down, he might fuel the flames a little. But as for just making me sad, no I don’t think so.
What is your favorite song by #9?
Favorite Emery song? Way too many choices. Way too many. Fractions, Walls, The Ponytail Parade, World Away, Story About a Man With a Bad Heart, The Movie Song, Listening to Freddie Mercury, The whole The Question album, the whole EVERY ALBUM THEY HAVE.
When did you first get into #2?
Waaaaaaaaay back in the day. Like, freshman year I think. Same time I started getting into Norma Jean, and stuff. Alexisonfire is still like my absolute favorite band of all time.
How did you get into #3?
I’m pretty sure Xander introduced me to the amount of awesome that is Bon Iver. Xander has filled my musical coffers to the brim man.
What is your favorite song by #4
Again, ALL OF THEM. I can’t pick just one letlive song that I like when I’m 1000000% in LOVE with all of them. I GUESS if I gotta pick one.. Day 54.
How many times have you seen #9 live?
None >:[ Oh, Sleeper said they were probably going to come through Florida on this tour with Emery, which would’ve made my life complete (Micah Kinnard, Shane Blay, Nate Grady, AND Toby Morrell all in the same room?!), but they aren’t.. so I guess i’ll keep waiting..
What is a good memory concerning #10?
I don’t have many. I love Copeland, and Aaron Marsh is lyrically amazing, but I don’t have a really good memory dealing with Copeland. Other than solo fishing trips where it was just me, Arnold Palmer Arizonas, and Beneath the Medicine Tree.
Is there a song by #8 that makes you sad?
Dear Alexia Ice, kinda. It’ll always somewhat make me feel a little bit sad I think.
What is your favorite song by #1?
That’s a tossup between A Banquet For Traitors, To Flagship, and Vices Like Vipers.
YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAH!
The afterlife means we reign as ghosts.
